On 28 February 2018, H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recognizes Lexington Group for its successful delivery of the Comprehensive Executive Leadership Course (CELC) to thirty-seven officers from the Ministry of Interior.
Lexington’s CELC, based on best practices from the world’s leading leadership institutions that included Harvard, West Point, and INSEAD, is a contemporary nine (9) week leadership program tailored to meet to the needs of the Ministry of Interior that teaches mid-career officers and professionals how to think about and impart leadership that creates value.
During the meeting with the Minister, Lexington’s CEO & President, Ted Flinter, Lexington’s Senior Vice President, Jarat Ford, and Lexington’s Director of Executive Leadership Education Programs, Dr. Mark English highlighted the challenging nature of the program and the willingness of the officers to improve their leadership, strategic thinking, and problem solving skills.
Dr. Mark English commented, “The CELC is a demanding program where students spend 45% of their time in small group work solving cases and presenting to their fellow classmates. “I was impressed with how the students embraced the content and contributed to meaningful class discussions. They were eager to not only improve their existing leadership skills but also to acquire new skills that included approaches to managing change and understanding political economics.”
