Lexington Representative Speaks at the Drones OMAN Workshop and Live Demonstration

Lexington Group’s Director of Unmanned Aircraft System Programs, Alex Sell was invited to speak at Drones Oman, Workshop and Live Demonstration Conference, held in Muscat on 27-28 February 2017.
Alex chose to speak on the subject of ‘Medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) UAS for Public Safety, Security and Law Enforcement’, which showcased much of the work Lexington Group had already completed for the UAE’s Ministry of Interior UAS Program. His presentation was ranked in the top three delivered during the two-day event, (as rated by attendees in the post-event survey.)
The Drones Oman Workshop and Live Demonstrations event was developed to provide updates on drone regulations in Oman, identify innovations in drone technologies, provide an in-depth understanding of the various applications of these machines and discuss best practices to help companies kick-start their drone operations.
Alex a former RAF Nimrod MR2 pilot and UAS Program Manager for the UK Ministry of Defence promoted the event as, “an excellent platform to understand the current regional innovation and enterprise in the unmanned technology domain.”
With over 20 years of aviation experience that includes both manned and unmanned aviation, Alex is a leading expert on UAS training, operations and organizational design.
